A kite safari is a different trip from a normal kite holiday — you're moving between islands by boat, chasing the wind, with the group deciding the route together. Here's what that actually looks like day to day.
The trip runs Sunday to Thursday aboard Iceberg, moving between 3 to 4 northern islands depending on the forecast. Up to 15 kite sessions across the trip — up to 3 per day depending on wind and conditions.
May through August rate as the most reliable wind months. April, September and October are good. March and November are OK but less consistent, and December through February rate as off-season for wind — which is why this trip runs as a private group charter you book for a date with good wind, rather than a fixed weekly departure.
This trip is not available to book as an individual — it runs exclusively for private groups of 4 to 8 kiters, with the whole boat for the duration of the charter. If you don't have a group yet, message us and we can sometimes help connect smaller groups.
You're welcome to bring your own kite gear, or rent equipment onboard for €300 (optional). A support dinghy follows the group for downwinders. No certification is required to kitesurf; if you want to dive on days without wind, a basic Open Water certification is recommended.
The Charter Kite Safari runs for private groups of 4 to 8 kiters, 5 or 8 days, aboard Iceberg.
Message us on WhatsApp with your group size and preferred dates and we'll confirm availability.
